We started Via Consors to do the work that tends to fall between job descriptions: turning a leader's big idea into something that actually runs.
Between us, we've worked inside health systems, universities, research institutes, and nonprofits. The settings changed, but the work stayed the same: take a big idea, give it a structure, and keep it moving until it runs on its own. Now we bring that to organizations of every size, from solo founders to large institutions.
We work every engagement as partners. We both shape the strategy, build the systems, run the room, and see the work through. And we've sat through enough meetings that should have been emails to know the difference.
Our Team
Melissa Gordy
Co-FounderMelissa has led operations and strategy work in some of the country's largest health systems.
At a large health system, she built an entire office from scratch: the intake systems, scorecards, strategic plan, and board-ready reporting that kept leadership priorities moving. Before that, she spent nearly six years at one of the country's largest academic medical centers, running initiatives across a dozen hospitals. Earlier, she did risk and clinical-integration work across a care system spanning fifteen medical centers.
She holds a JD and an MBA, which means she reads the fine print and the spreadsheet.
Rachel Kinker
Rachel has led operations and program work across universities, research institutes, and nonprofits.
She has worked in research compliance at a major public research university, launched innovation and technology-transfer programs at a leading research institute, and run operations for a $600K nonprofit, including budget, staff, and federal reporting. Earlier, she led a refugee resettlement program for a national relief organization, growing its funding while managing federal reporting and multi-agency partnerships.
She holds an MPA in nonprofit management and has never met a messy process she didn't want to fix.

Vision
No good idea should stall for lack of someone to run it. We picture a world where organizations of every size, from a solo founder to a large institution, have the support to bring their best ideas to life.
