Vision
We want to be the partner organizations call when they have a big vision and no one with the time or the know-how to make it happen, and eventually, a name known across the country for turning ideas into results.
Via Consors was founded by Rachel Kinker and Melissa Gordy, who spent their careers doing the thing most organizations struggle with: turning a leader's vision into something that actually runs. They built their careers inside large, complicated organizations, health systems and universities, where the job was to juggle competing priorities and keep things moving without a clear playbook. They found they solved that problem the same way every time: build the structure, then make it move. Via Consors is that same approach, now available as a partnership.
Our Team
Melissa Gordy
Co-FounderMelissa is the person senior leaders turn to when strategy has to become daily execution. She built an entire office from scratch inside a large health system, the intake systems, scorecards, strategic plan, and board-ready reporting that kept leadership priorities moving. Before that, Melissa spent nearly six years at one of the country's largest academic medical centers, running initiatives across a dozen hospitals, and earlier did risk and clinical-integration work across a care system spanning fifteen medical centers. She holds a JD and an MBA.
Melissa is the one who sits beside a leader, absorbs the ambiguity, and turns a hundred scattered priorities into a plan that runs.
Rachel builds the structure that lets institutions move. She's worked in research compliance at a major public research university, launched innovation and technology-transfer programs at a leading research institute, and ran operations for a $600K nonprofit, budget, staff, federal reporting included. Earlier, Rachel led a refugee resettlement program for a national relief organization, growing its funding while managing federal reporting and multi-agency partnerships. She holds an MPA in nonprofit management.
Rachel is the person who takes on a mandate no one has built a plan for yet and gives it a budget, a workflow, and a way to track its progress.

Together, they cover the full arc most organizations can't staff for on their own — from the strategy that sets direction to the systems, events, and day-to-day execution that carry it through. Each has built and run this work independently for years, and they scope every engagement to bring the right expertise to the problem in front of it. What clients count on stays the same: senior operators who own the work start to finish, and the discipline to make a mission real.
